Quintana of Charyn

Quintana of Charyn - Melina Marchetta **NO SPOILERS**The biggest thanks to Melina Marchetta. Thank you for affording me and and all your other ardent fans the opportunity to indulge in your brilliant writing and works. It is embarrassing how slowly I read the last 80 pages of this. Clinging desperately for it all not to end! Alas, it did, and it's so bittersweet. Complete review to come after its official release. For now I'll say this: Every other page I was laughing or crying from joy, sadness, despair, or just beautiful moments of expression between a people/persons, intimate and the unlike, that were and could be. As with its predecessors [b:Finnikin of the Rock|4932435|Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles #1)|Melina Marchetta|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1346007613s/4932435.jpg|4998084] and [b:Froi of the Exiles|10165727|Froi of the Exiles (Lumatere Chronicles, #2)|Melina Marchetta|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1306866851s/10165727.jpg|15064442], Quintana of Charyn includes horrifying twists and turn of events, hope,--so much hope!--humor, and heart. These characters! Omg! I can't express the fierceness in my heart for the lot of them. Can I not stay with them forever and ever? The finale was beyond what I'd imagined and could have hoped for, and still not enough. I want to cling to the writing of this series and will it not to end. I am a ball of emotions right now and so sad it's over, but on the other hand I am in a state of humble peace. What a journey! It was a beautiful experience, and I could not love Melina Marchetta's writing more than I do in this moment, than with this book. Quintana of Charyn was absolutely an amazing conclusion to the trilogy. I can't wait for you all to read it (PUT IT ON YOUR TBR SHELF IF IT'S NOT ALREADY THERE!). I'm just bursting to discuss it with you all!
