Shadows - Paula Weston 5/15/13 ETA:I just wanted to stop by and recommend this to all my people here again, because both this book and its author, [a:Paula Weston|5446913|Paula Weston|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1341220975p2/5446913.jpg], are awesome. Seriously! Read this ASAP. I am rereading Shadows again next week to fully prepare myself for the AUS/NZ release of the sequel, [b:Haze|15765699|Haze (The Rephaim, #2)|Paula Weston|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1365437783s/15765699.jpg|21469797], which you can pre-order (FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING) from Fishpond Australia here http://www.fishpond.com/Books/Haze-Rephaim-Paula-Weston/9781922079923LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!Go and read immediately friends. My only complaint is the wait for book two. Why so long must I wait to read you, book 2?Action and mystery and a boy crush, Shadows, is the first book of a new series by newcomer [a:Paula Weston|5446913|Paula Weston|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1341220975p2/5446913.jpg], focusing in on angels and demons. It's a close marriage between both [a:Susan Ee's|4890182|Susan Ee|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1306865698p2/4890182.jpg] Angelfall and [a:Laini Taylor's|324620|Laini Taylor|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1224474224p2/324620.jpg] Daughter and Smoke and Bone, with it's own setting and uniqueness. You guys, it's happening in Australia. I quite like Australia being the backdrop and setting. I cannot wait to see where things go from here, this first book set the tone for what's to come for the rest of the series quite nicely. Rafa, get at me baby!I definitely recommend this book to fans of the aforementioned works.'More detailed review to come
